The South Shore Syncopators play at Music Mountain in beautiful Gordon Hall in Falls Village, CT in 2011. A hot night and a crowded room had them remove their jackets for this transcription of Charlie Johnson's THE CHARLESTON IS THE BEST DANCE OF ALL. Colin Van Tuyl plays the Jabbo Smith trumpet solo, Craig Lindsay the Benny Water alto solo and bandleader Ray Osnato takes a stab at the short Charlie Irvis trombone solo.

The South Shore Syncopators and their immensely popular vocal group, The Three Babbling Brooks, perform this rollicking number at Music Mountain in 2011. The Three Babbling Brooks are Holly Sickinger (center), Valerie Grehan (left) and Stephanie Horowitz-Mulry (right). They don't do much in the opening instrumental chorus, but I'd rather look at them than the guys in the band! Ever popular??
